The connected vessel has arrived

Anglo-Eastern is in pole position to drive this major transformation across our managed fleet, with our first formal installations of Starlink’s maritime broadband service celebrated in March. Part of a preliminary order, the initial lucky dozen comprised vessels of various ship types and trading patterns in order to trial the service across a number of scenarios before broader roll-out in the months ahead. 

Good to be back – Mumbai Conference

This February 21-23 saw the much anticipated return of our signature Anglo-Eastern Mumbai Conference – a three-day networking and knowledge-sharing extravaganza for officers, owners, and managers. The global pandemic may have held us back for four years, but there was no stopping us this time from hosting our biggest, boldest, and best conference yet! 

Signed and delivered CMI acquisition concluded

With our acquisition of the CMI group comes a third-party fleet comprising 12 expedition class vessels that are as tough and durable as they are comfortable and luxurious, allowing passengers to explore less travelled waters in safety and style. 

Workshop for women seafarers launched

We were extremely proud to officially launch Anglo-Eastern Women of Seas (AWOS) during the Mumbai Conference, with a one-day workshop for female seafarers and cadets on February 22nd. 

AE Montreal: We’ve moved

After more than 25 years at the same address, our Canadian office decided it was time to follow the lead of our Hong Kong and Antwerp offices by relocating to more modern premises. Still located in the city of Pointe-Claire on the Island of Montreal, the new office space is a definite step up and ‘move’ in the right direction. 

Mumbai flagship training centre inaugurates new state-of-the-art site

Anglo-Eastern’s flagship maritime training centre in Mumbai celebrated the grand opening of its new premises at Leela Business Park in Andheri East on October 11th. The new training space is home to Anglo-Eastern Maritime Training Centre (AEMTC) Mumbai and the associated partner facilities of MAN PrimeServ, WinGD and Wärtsilä.

AEMA celebrates 120 GME/ETO graduates

Anglo-Eastern Maritime Academy (AEMA) celebrated the double engineering graduation of GME 35 and ETO 12 on September 20th, appropriately a few days after India’s National Engineer’s Day.
